Visions Global Empowerment - Sri Lanka (“Visions Sri Lanka”) is a registered NGO / non-profit organization (registered under the Companies Act, No 7 of 2007 and the Voluntary Social Services Organizations Act No. 08 of 1998 ) that aims to support under-resourced individuals and communities through programs focused on education, leadership, technology, and community development.
Since 2003, Visions Global Empowerment (USA) has partnered with local organizations to implement nearly USD $930,000 worth of educational programs and projects in Sri Lanka.
Inspired by this work, Visions Sri Lanka was registered in 2022, with the aim of continuing to help the next generation of young leaders to realize their dreams and create positive change in their homes, schools, and communities. ABOUT US
WHERE WE WORK
To-date, Visions Sri Lanka has implemented projects throughout Jaffna, Mullaithivu, Batticaloa, Kilinochchi, and other communities. Currently, Visions Sri Lanka programs are concentrated in northern and eastern Sri Lanka. In the future, we plan to expand to other districts and provinces across Sri Lanka.
