Ms. Priyatharsini Tharmakulasingam serves as a Part-time Trainer, and Resource Person at Visions Global Empowerment Sri Lanka, where she facilitates leadership development and life skills training, and supports community engagement initiatives. In her role as a trainer and resource person, she works with school students and young people, helping them develop leadership, communication, and life skills while promoting active citizenship and personal growth.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Sociology from the University of Jaffna. Her academic studies focused on development sociology, research methods, counselling, gender studies, human rights, and social issues, providing her with a strong foundation in community development, youth empowerment, and social research. Her volunteer work has included projects on waste management, youth political participation, advocacy, and sexual and reproductive health awareness, reflecting her dedication to community development and social change.

As a part-time trainer and resource person, Ms. Priyatharsini has developed expertise in facilitating interactive learning sessions, engaging young people, and supporting the delivery of leadership development and life skills education programmes. Her ability to connect with participants, combined with her academic background in sociology, enables her to effectively promote positive behavioural change and youth leadership. A passionate advocate for research and youth empowerment, Ms. Priyatharsini has published a research paper titled "Sexual Harassment in Public Transport," demonstrating her commitment to addressing social issues through evidence-based research.

Ms. Priyatharsini is an enthusiastic, hardworking, and achievement-oriented young professional with strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
