Born and raised in the Jaffna District, he served as a civil servant in various positions within the Divisional Secretariats for over 21 years, making significant contributions to public administration and community development.

Academically, he holds both a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Business Management. As part of his postgraduate studies, he conducted research on "Women Empowerment through Microfinance in the Vadamaradchy North Division," examining the role of microfinance in improving the socio-economic status of women.

Alongside his government service, he has been actively involved in voluntary community service and continues to contribute to social and religious organizations as an advisor and honorary member. He is widely respected for his integrity, professionalism, and commitment to serving the community.

With extensive expertise in accounting, financial management, and auditing, he has built a strong reputation in financial administration. Following his retirement from government service, he has continued his professional career by providing accounting and auditing services to private organizations, supporting them in strengthening their financial management systems and ensuring compliance with sound accounting practices. His extensive administrative experience, financial expertise, and dedication to community service make him a valuable member of the leadership team at Visions Global Empowerment Sri Lanka.
